I know it is very tempting to want to pitch your business to every person walking but why don’t you try another approach, starting TODAY! One thing you have to understand is that 80% of the people that you approach about your business don’t care about your business. You see, we are in a relationship type of business and building relationships is the most important piece of building a successful organization.
It’s almost like going to a birthday party to celebrate your good friend’s birthday and you have the DJ announce “Hey guys James over here has a business opportunity for you and it is going to change your life instantly” Now, as soon as everyone hears that, they are going to look at you like you have 10 heads….LOL!!
Do you get my point here? Most likely most of the people at the party, you have not established a relationship with therefore have no interest in your business opportunity.
There is a right time and place for everything you do (even online) and facebook, myspace, parties, grocery stores, etc. is the place or right time for you to pitch your business.
So, below there are some steps you can use today to start building your business the RIGHT way!
1. Build a list- Not family and friends list, a list of like minded individuals
2. Build a rapport with the people that you have on this list
3. When the time is right, recruit from this list
